Disabled persons: Entrance limited to the ground floor for disabled.

Cloakroom: on the ground floor, free and compulsory for the following items: umbrellas, backpacks and large bags.

Bookshop: there are two shops, one in the yard and one at the entrance of the Gallery.

  • Free ticket: € 0.00 - Children under 18 years of any nationality, showing passport or id card. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by adults

The Boboli Gardens, Porcelain Museum, Bardini Gardens..

The wonderful Italian garden, behind the Pitti Palace, is just an open-air museum, full of Renaissance statues and fountains. Originally designed by Niccolò Tribolo upon Cosimo I’s request, it was then completed and enlarged by Ammanati, Buontalenti and Giulio and Alfonso Parigi. Entering the park, from the patio of Bacco, you arrive at the Grotta of Buontalenti, that it’s worth a visit. Going on thru the garden charming pathways, visiting the Anfiteatro and all the other places, allow you to experience the spirit of Renaissaince and the life at court of that time.

In addition to the park, all-inclusive in the ticket price, you can visit the Porcelain Museum, has been housed since 1973 in the palace of the Knight of the century XVIII on the top of the Boboli Gardens. It gathers the collections of table porcelain all of the ruling houses that succeeded Palazzo Pitti, from the Medici to the Lorraines, including the Bourbon dynasty. Continuing the walk you can also admire the historical Bardini Garden with statues, grottoes, fountains and a beautiful view of the city.
